Clayfire Gallery represents a diverse range of artists with varied backgrounds and experience.  They display a range of works from artists using different mediums from acrylic and metal on canvas, oils and watercolor and sculptural work.

The artists all come from various parts of Victoria from rural, urban and the coastal areas.  A wide range of subject matter is covered from great Australian icons to native bushland and seascapes, and cafe and urban life.

Clayfire Gallery owner’s Mark and Robyn Reid opened their first gallery in 1985 in Buninyong called Torvil Pottery, where Mark was a fulltime potter. Clayfire Gallery was created in 1991 when their business was moved to a 10-acre property. The new gallery was built from Mt Gambier lime stone and incorporated a working studio, gallery and residence.
