Getting to Daylesford by Car

There are a number of options when travelling from Melbourne to Daylesford. The most common are via the Calder freeway and then through Woodend, or via the Western Freeway, turning off just before Ballarat.

Getting to Daylesford by Public Transport

There are 3 or 4 trains per day, leaving from Melbourne’s Southern Cross station, heading to either Woodend, Ballarat, or Ballan. . Travellers will then need to catch the bus to Daylesford.
